Jennifer Scherwin | ACEofPBC Academic Team - FamilyImPACT Coordinator 

Jennifer Scherwin is the coordinator for family literacy and engagement programming at our *Family ImPACT sites. She received her Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. She has worked for the School District of Palm Beach County for almost five years; previously taking on roles as a Pre-Kindergarten Teacher and as a Site Coordinator for the Family ImPACT sites before settling nicely into her current position. Jennifer has been planning and implementing family literacy activities and events at several sites for the past three years. Her parent engagement initiatives and curriculum are now being expanded, and will be offered to more Adult Education sites throughout our District in the upcoming school year.

*Family ImPACT is a unique ESOL program nestled within the Department of Adult and Community Education. The addition of family literacy, parenting, and other enrichment and educational topics into its ESOL curriculum helps the children of our School District by bridging the gap between home and school learning
