This professional learning opportunity is to help educators elevate their teaching practices to enhance all students' learning and educational experiences. All students can engage in instruction in meaningful and relevant ways by infusing diverse historical experiences and creating diverse learning environments. Workshop sessions will focus on the following learning strands;
Enhancing curriculum through the infusion of Florida Statute 1003.42 (h)(q). Subsections h and q require Instruction to include the contributions of African Americans and Hispanics to the United States.
Improving academic outcomes through targeted universalism or when goals for all students are achieved by addressing the unique needs of particular groups.
Developing Instructional approaches to meet the learning styles of all students.
Adapting Instruction that includes support for English language learners promotes and advances our students' academic learning and second language acquisition achievement.
