New York residents ages 13 and older can get a digital library card through the NYPL online card application and gain access to an array of digital resources: Books, E-Books, Audiobooks, Magazines, Music, Databases, Digital Archives, and more. The Palmyra-Macedon school community has access to their very own SORA account. SORA is the student reading app for OverDrive which provides access to ebook and audiobooks (plus more) for the Pal-Mac community, anytime, anywhere! Sora is the new user-friendly app that lets you access it through your laptop, phone or tablet.
The Sora app was designed around the modern student reading experience. It empowers students to discover and enjoy ebooks and audiobooks from their school, for both leisure and class-assigned reading.
Inspired by educator and student feedback, Sora was created to excite kids about reading and remove distractions to promote a focus on learning.

TeenBookCloud, powered by TumbleBooks, is a comprehensive online library of eBooks and educational resources tailored specifically for middle and high school students. It provides a vast selection of digital books that students can access anytime, anywhere, using their school or library account. The platform offers an easy-to-use interface and allows unlimited access without the need for check-outs, waitlists, or time limits. Students can enjoy reading as many books as they want, whenever they want, on any compatible device. Gannett Media Education has provided the Pal-Mac High School community access to both the Democrat & Chronicle and USA Today newspapers at NO COST for the current school year. The e-Newspaper is an exact digital replica of the print edition of your local newspaper. WFL BOCES provides the Pal-Mac District with the SWANK Digital Streaming Platform. This platform contains feature films, documentaries, TV shows and foreign films available to stream on any laptop, tablet or mobile device.
