The development of local curriculum starts with the standards established by the New York State Education Department. Currently, these standards are called the Next Generation Learning Standard or NGLS.

Pal-Mac's curriculum follows NYS Standards for each content area. Pacing Plans are provided to identify when the content is taught throughout the academic year and the standards addressed in those units of study.
