Hello students!

My name is Mrs. Dionne Simmonds. I grew up in Saskatoon, SK., which is where most of my family still lives. I attended the University of Saskatchewan where I received my Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Education degrees. I have been teaching for 26 years now, 23 of those years have been here at CCHS. I teach science 10, science 14/24 and chemistry 20 this year. 

 I am involved in the best extra curricular activity! I am one of the staff advisers for planning the grade 12 graduation. 

 I have been married to my husband Devin for 21 years and we have one child, Evan who is 18 years old and attending his first year at SAIT in the Carpentry Program. We also have a puppy named Toffee! My family and I are big football and hockey fans, cheering for the Saskatchewan Roughriders, Calgary Hitmen and the Edmonton Oilers. We also love camping and traveling.

I feel very blessed to be a part of this community and look forward to teaching you science, math and chemistry this year!
