CAREERS is breaking down barriers and paving a path for women in skilled trades and technologies. Lethbridge and area students grades 10-12 interested in the Skilled Trades, ICT and Agriculture will gain hands-on experience by participating in activities provided by local businesses and organizations who support young women in trade and technology related careers. (from their website)
On Friday, May 3rd, the first two hours of the conference are reserved for youth and students from 10am to 12pm.
Having the conference all to themselves, they can deep dive into everything the exhibitors, speaker sessions, and connections have to offer. The hiring hangar starts at noon as well just afterwards, so bring those resumes! Youth under 18 are FREE to attend and have the chance of winning valuable door prizes just by showing up. This is a perfect opportunity for your students to connect with potential future employers and the RAP program, cheer on their peers at the Alberta Esports Championship, and become immersed in tech, tourism, business, and innovation.
