- At the top of this site, you will be able to navigate to the Assignment Expectations page and the Resources page along with this Home page.
- Under Assignment Expectations, you will see a copy of the assignment handout given to you by your teacher.
- You will, next, see a calendar for your class which spells out assigned class work for each day and due dates.

- Next, there are handouts designed by your teacher for you to utilize during this project.
- You will also be able to view scholarly journal resources. There is a Q&A to help you learn about this skill, a graphic organizer to help you extract useful information from the article that you use, and a scholarly journal rubric that will be used to grade how well you have filled out your scholarly graphic organizer (20 points total.)
- Next, you will see annotated bibliography resources. There is a Q&A to help you learn about this skill, a quick start guide that you can use to help you write your annotations, an annotated bibliography rubric (which will be used to grade your annotated bibliography (50 points total.) , and a side by side example of two annotated bibliography entries and feedback about how well they have written their annotations.
- Note: For this project you will be graded against four rubrics: The persuasive essay rubric, the annotated bibliography rubric, the scholarly journal graphic organizer rubric, and the persuasive speech rubric.
- Following, there are additional resources that are there to help you with writing, as needed.
- Finally, you will see an example student project.
- Under Resources, you will be able to link to articles and eBooks, etc. to gather expert information for your research.
- Within, there is also a link to an infographics/presentation page that will help you plan your presentation (you will not be required to create an infographic for your presentation, but it is also strongly suggested since it is a powerful way to communicate information.)
