Dear Kindergarten Families,

A warm welcome to all our Kindergartners ! I hope you had a blast last summer and ready for this years learning adventure. Kindergarten is a time for children to expand their love of learning, their general knowledge , their ability to get along with others, and their interest in reaching out to the world. Our educational program at Painted rock academy is set to meet all that and provide a nurturing environment. It is here that your child will build the foundation for a successful school career with their hard work and also with your support at home.

My name is Mrs. Reshma Venugopal, and I am about to begin my 11th year of teaching in Painted Rock Academy. I have previously been associated with the sister school Valley academy. I worked at Valley academy for three years in the Kindergarten classroom. It was there I fell in love with the Kindergarten age students and knew that it was the grade level I could see myself teaching for a very long time.

I am so excited for this school year and all that it will bring. With the support from home and my commitment to your children , we are well on our way in establishing a solid foundation for each student to grow on. Every day is an adventure in Kindergarten ! We will be working hard in the classroom and at home (first quarter) with many different approaches to learning.

I believe that communication is the key to your child's success and to a great parent/teacher relationship. I encourage you to contact me if you have any questions or concerns at anytime. In this newsletter you will find all the information you will need and it will inform you of what we have been doing, as well as things that are up coming.
