Tate graduated from the University of Kentucky in May of 2012 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering. He also received his Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering from UK in 2015.
He began his career with the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet in August of 2015 as the District 5 Materials Engineer. Tate has worked at the Division of Materials, Asphalt Mixtures Testing Section since September 2016.
Tate, with the help of countless individuals in state government, academia, and PAIKY, is working toward performance-based, data-driven decisions regarding asphalt pavements in the state of Kentucky.
