Leigh Ann Pettit, Principal
Beginning her teaching career here at PCTC, Mrs. Pettit taught History at PCHS for 14 years and most recently served as Assistant Principal at LHS for 5 years. Holding a B.S. in Interdisciplinary Social Sciences and Secondary Education from James Madison University, she also obtained a Master's in Administration and Supervision from Liberty University. Committed to the Page County community, Mrs. Pettit's passion lies in "preparing tomorrow's professionals" through quality instruction and training. Mrs. Pettit enjoys spending time with family and friends and attending athletic events.
Ms. Rosalei Caton, Cosmetology I & II
Ms. Caton is a Licensed Cosmetologist who has also earned an Associate's Degree in Mental Health from BRCC. Inspired by her colleagues and former Cosmetology instructor, Ms. Caton stresses the importance of organization, excellent attendance, and good study habits to the future Stylists of PCTC. In her freetime, Ms. Caton enjoys spending time with her sons, fishing, kayaking, "beaching," and traveling.

Meaghan Leake, Nurse Aide
Beginning her career in the Nurse Aide program at PCTC, Ms. Leake received her Associate's Degree in Nursing from LFCC in 2012. She went on to obtain a BSN from James Madison University. Ms. Leake enjoys being able to share her love for nursing with high school students as she has fond memories of her time in Stacey Harper's Nurse Aide class. Ms. Leake believes that students should gain as much experience as possible, whether by volunteering, working and/or shadowing in the field, particularly as a CNA prior to becoming an RN. When Ms. Leake isn't in the classroom or at clinicals, you can find her hanging out with her family- immediate and extended- and watching her sons grow and learn.
Darlene Pettit, Clinical Medical Assistant and Introduction to Health & Medical Sciences
Mrs. Pettit has an Associate's Degree in Nursing from LFCC and a Bachelor of Nursing degree from JMU. Prior to teaching, Mrs. Pettit practiced as a Licensed Registered Nurse for 10 years with a background in Medical/Surgical/Telemetry, Critical Care, as well as Emergency Department. Visiting her terminally ill grandmother in the hospital as a little girl, Mrs. Pettit chose to help others by becoming a health care professional. She's excited at the opportunity to contribute to a future that is bright and successful to the students at PCTC. Mrs. Pettit is a wife, mother of two boys, and loves the outdoors, particularly Shenandoah National Park and the Greenway.

Elizabeth Reed, Bookkeeper and Front Office Secretary
Currently enrolled as a full-time Psychology student at Liberty University, Ms. Reed instills a love of learning within her students. Always eager to listen, Ms. Reed regularly reminds her students that "the real difficulty is to overcome how YOU think about YOURSELF (Maya Angelou)."

Erika Rucker, Practical Nursing I
Serving as both the Program Director of the Practical Nursing Program and the Nurse Aide Program Coordinator, Ms. Rucker is a Registered Nurse, holding LPN, ASN, BSN, and Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degrees. She believes the small class sizes of PCTC enable her students to be successful and she continuously reminds them that Nursing School is very time consuming, very stressful, but worth it! A lover of outdoor activities, Ms. Rucker loves being active during the summer, but prefers a good book in the winter months.

Paul Strassner, Automotive Technology I, II, & III
Mr. Strassner is a Luray High School grad and holds a Bachelor's degree in Theology. He is also an ASE Master Tech, ASE Under Car Specialist, ASE Parts Specialist, NATEF Evaluation Team Leader, and GM Master Technician. Mr. Strassner has taught Auto-Technology at PCTC since 2004. In his free time, Mr. Strassner enjoys hunting, scuba, and church life.
Barbara Wilson, Alternative Education
Encouraging her students to "Be Creative!," Ms. Wilson taught English, Math, Science, and Journalism in England and Washington, D.C., prior to settling in Page County. Growing up with an educator in her household had a dramatic impact on her life. Her love of learning blended with her passion for her students led her to the Alternative Education setting. Ms. Wilson believes students should discover their talents, interests, and passions, then look to careers that allow you to pursue them. She instills in her students that "everything you learn today can help your tomorrow be a greater and more rewarding one." Ms. Wilson enjoys reading, watching comedies and spending time with her granddaughters in her free time.

Kara Winum, Alternative Education & Adult GED
Beginning her career with an AAS in Agricultural Science from SUNY Cobleskill and a BS in Agricultural Education from Virginia Tech, Mrs. Winum continued her education by obtaining a Master's in Special Education from George Mason University. Mrs. Winum loves the small class sizes that PCTC offers, as they allow her to form positive relationships with her students. An active community member, Mrs. Winum enjoys hiking, reading, visiting friends, and spending time with her family.
