We received this lovely email about our Y6's visit to Eagle Heights: Today our family were at Eagle Heights and I believe that some of your pupils were there also. We would just like to say what a well behaved bunch of children. When you see school buses you think "oh no screaming kids" but not in this instance. They were very polite and they behaved really well. So they deserve a pat on the back.

Well done to all the children and staff involved.

A big thank you to the lovely girls in 5R who - after learning about the issues of plastic pollution in our inquiry lessons - decided to take some individual action on our playground last Friday! Great effort girls!

A parent approached me on Monday to share this about Woody.

While playing in a football tournament, Woody's team won. One of the players from the other team was extremely upset, but rather than celebrating with his team, Woody approached the other player and looked after him.

Woody, you really are a brilliantly kind, respectful and compassionate human-being. You put someone else's feelings before your own. We are so proud of you.

Well done to everyone in Year 6 who was on the non-residential trips. You all showed open-minded and risk taking behaviours this week and the teachers are really proud of you all. We all had a fantastic week and you represented the school brilliantly!

You have shown open-mindedness during your ‘Edit’ project this week. The adults have seen you listen to other opinions and take a very open and balanced approach to your decision making. Well done for showing such great maturity.

For being a great communicator and showing excellent self-management skills to produce your video about deforestation and climate change. It was especially impressive to see how dedicated you were to continually improving your video until it was up to the standard you wanted!
