Paddock Wood Primary Academy

Newsletter

Mr page's news update

The children have had another excellent week of learning. Despite the bitterly cold weather, children have completed wonderful pieces of work that I have had the pleasure of being shown by very proud and enthusiastic children. Well done everyone!

Attendance

Well done to Year 3 for having the best attendance of all year groups this week - 98%!  The Government regards 95% attendance as the minimum satisfactory level of attendance but ideally, we would always aim for all our students to have as near to 100% as possible.  Poor attendance can have such a detrimental effect on a student's schoolwork as well as their overall well-being and should not be overlooked.

Uniform

The academy has seen a massive improvement since we came back from Christmas holidays so thank you to all parents who went out and bought new ties/jumpers and cardigans for the children.  As always, we are more than aware that the cost of living is having a huge impact on so many of us and so please do let us know should you need a uniform voucher to support in buying new uniform. Sam Chapman, our brilliant new FLO, is contactable on samantha.chapman@paddockwoodprimaryacademy.org.uk.

I hope you all have a fantastic weekend when it arrives.
