What a fantastic week we've had celebrating Sports Days! The atmosphere across the school was electric with cheers, encouragement, and a healthy dose of competitive spirit. We were so impressed by the teamwork, resilience, and sportsmanship displayed by all the children, from our youngest children in Early Years to our Year 6 superstars. It was a wonderful opportunity to see their PE skills shine and to celebrate the joy of movement and participation.
Please can I remind parents about their conduct when on the school site. Working together creates a happy and successful school environment for our children. When visiting the school, please remember to be mindful of your language and interactions with everyone. This includes using courteous tones with staff, students, and other parents. By modelling respect for the whole school community, we set a positive example for our children and ensure a safe and inclusive space for all.
I know the warmer weather is a slight shock to us all, however there are still many children in school who are not prepared for the change in temperature. Please ensure children have a sun hat for school, a water bottle and have any sun cream applied before they arrive at school. It is also worth keeping an eye on forecasts and ensuring children have a light coat for any changes in weather or colder mornings. Please speak to your class teachers if you have any questions regarding this.
I hope you have a lovely weekend when it arrives.
This week we are really proud of...
Well done to Eliza who has gained her level 6 proficiency award for trampolining. She is now working towards level 7!
