PWPA took two teams to the Tonbridge Angels National League Trust tournament on Thursday. There were schools from across the Tonbridge district in the tournament and both teams were awesome throughout the day, earning themselves spots in their respective finals. The mixed team game went down to the wire with the result coming down to a penalty shootout which was sadly lost 2-0. The girls match finished at 3-1 to the opposition but Darcia did score an amazing goal from just beyond the halfway line. Well done to everyone who took part - you should all be so proud of yourselves.

It's been a busy week for the girls football team. On Monday, they played against Pembury School. It was an extremely close match with the girls pulling ahead at the beginning of the second half but a last minute equaliser from Pembury meant the score at the final whistle was 1-1. Well done to all of the girls who played, you were brilliant - bring on the next match.

Your inquiry work has been excellent these last few weeks. You have applied knowledge, communicated your ideas effectively and been reflective when reviewing and improving. Keep it up!

Being a risk taker at the football tournament this week, you faced your fears and played brilliantly in goal even though it wasn't your first choice of position. Nice one Lucy!

William has been a resilient learner this week and has tried really hard to think independently. His writing skills have shown true dedication and perseverance.

Mia has been such an inquirer throughout our learning this term.  She is always so enthusiastic in her learning and has a fantastic attitude.   We are really proud of you Mia.

She crafted a descriptive narrative that not only showcased her creativity but also her commitment to maintaining high standards in her writing.
