Paddock Wood Primary Academy

Newsletter

Mrs Fidock's Final News Update

It's with mixed emotions that I write my final news update.

I'm extremely proud of Paddock Wood and the whole team, parents, children and staff who have worked towards the same goal over the last 2 and a bit years - to make Paddock Wood Primary Academy even better. Since I joined the school we have relaunched the curriculum and become an IB World School, completed a successful Challenge Partner visit, improved our communication and partnership with parents and most importantly, put the children at the heart of the decisions we make. The children continue to engage with all aspects of their learning and have agency over what they want to improve and how we can have further success - they have opinions and a voice and they use them to make our provision stronger. I will be incredibly sad to leave the whole Paddock Wood community and Leigh Academies Trust. My career has seen me lead 4 of their amazing academies and I will be forever grateful for the opportunity. As I start my new adventure in the West Country I will be thinking of you on the next step of the journey and wish each and every one of you every success and future happiness.

Thank you for entrusting me with your children and for all your support, it's been an absolute pleasure.

Office Messages

Thank you for your continued support as we endeavour to communicate all that is required to you from the school. MCAS is the first port of call for any questions you may have. Check the app, the answer is usually there. Please continue to embrace reading this newsletter and share in the celebrations and note the important dates. You can of course also email, pop in to reception or call us if you cannot find an answer to your question on MCAS. The school office will be closed over the holidays.
