Genevieve received a certificate for her amazing pumpkin design and carving in Tenerife during the half term break. Great work Genevieve!  Well done!

During half term Henry completed a sled dog sport competition in South Burgundy, France.  He ran eight consecutive races with a friend's dog, Murphy, negotiating forest and farm trails every day in some challenging weather!  Henry's determination, ability and teamwork with Murphy earned him first place in his category!  Well done Henry, we are so proud of you!

Isabel was awarded a Bronze Award at Brownies this week.  She also worked very hard to achieve 7 badges!  Well done Isabel; we are so proud of you!

Your enthusiasm during writing this week has been a joy to behold, particularly your enthusiasm for creating newspaper headlines  and communicating your ideas effectively.

For your great work in English this week, taking the role of the teacher to explain the features of a newspaper. You communicated your knowledge clearly and showed a great understanding of what you had learnt earlier in the week.

For being a thinker in writing. You have been able to write speech in two different forms, correctly ensuring the tense and punctuation were all correctly used.

For the massive effort you have been making in all lessons this week, especial with your reading work, your determination and well deserved pride in your work have been a pleasure to see.

For trying really hard in Maths this week and ensuring that he built his resilience and worked independently to correct his work.

For your caring nature towards others, always offering to help or to be a friend to someone who needs it. In addition, you shown excellent skills of self-organisation.

Jack has been open minded and knowledgeable in class, where he shared some amazing ideas during our visit from an author this week.  Well done Jack!  We are proud of you!

Mia has been a fantastic pupil this week - starting off the term with an aura of positive energy and enthusiasm. She has been principled and worked with care in Maths and English. Keep being amazing!
