Paddock Wood Primary Academy

Newsletter

Mr page's news update

It is my absolute pleasure to be able to write my first newsletter as Interim Principal. What a week it has been! Year 6 have tackled all of the elements and completed Bikeability all week, we had an author assembly and visit in KS2, Year 5 have thoroughly enjoyed their visit to the local library and not to mention a little visit from our friendly Ofsted inspectors. I will be sending a separate letter out to parents with more of the logistical information but I would like to take this opportunity to say how amazing and incredible every single member of this school community is. Your children were an absolute credit to you all! The staff's hard work and the fantastic learning opportunities that are offered on a daily basis received the recognition they deserved. I genuinely could not be happier to work with such supportive parents and the dedicated team here at Paddock Wood.

In addition to the already fantastic team we have, I am extremely pleased to announce new staff members. Their expertise and skills will make our already strong staff body even more skilled. I am thrilled to say that Miss Gunning has re-joined the staff as Pastoral lead and Lead DSL. Mrs Chapman brings a wealth of experience and will be our new Family Liaison Officer. Mrs Sheridon is supporting children as a 1:1. We have another staff member rejoining PWPA in the office, Mrs Gagne. Last, but by no means least, joining the site team is Mr Smith.

I am extremely proud to be able to take the role of Interim Principal at Paddock Wood Primary Academy and I look forward to working closely with everyone. Have a lovely and well-earned weekend, Mr Page.
