Paddock Wood Primary Academy

Newsletter

Mr PAGE's news update

I would like to please remind everyone of our expectations when you are on the school site. We take huge pride in ensuring this is a safe place for all of our pupils. Over the last few weeks I have received complaints from parents regarding the following incidents:

Please can we as a school community ensure that these are not repeated. We have very clear expectations for children and adults when they are on our school site. I am hoping this reminder is enough to stop repeated events before any sanctions are put in place for any individuals who disregard the rules.

On brighter news, it was my absolute pleasure to be able to share and celebrate our Ofsted report with you. We are extremely proud of the report and the brilliant evidence of what life is like for a child at Paddock Wood Primary Academy. The whole staff here are fantastic and the report highlights what amazing learning experiences are offered and given on a daily basis. Whilst we do not just do things for our friendly inspectors, we are very happy to receive the recognition for all that we do and offer. Working with the community and parents remains a key priority for us as a school. Thank you to all who completed the parent survey. It was overwhelmingly positive and it is my aim to keep communication high and continue to build and foster relationships with you all. I realise there has been a lot of change, however as the report highlights "morale is high".

I hope you all have a lovely weekend

rock steady music school

On Friday 1st December KS1 and KS2 were lucky enough to have the opportunity to meet James from Rock Steady Music School and all pupils took part in a very exciting and engaging assembly followed by 'Make your own band' workshops. All pupils were amazing spectators of the chosen band members and their knowledge of pop music ricocheted through the audience as they played 'guess the tune'. The hall had a vibrant atmosphere and really ensured that all pupils can see that music brings a feel good vibe and lots of giggles! Rock Steady have also offered us the opportunity to begin regular 'band practice' in the New Year. Sign up before all places are filled!  Further information can be found via MCAS>Announcements
