Dear Parents and Carers,
I hope you are having a fantastic week. The children have enjoyed the opportunity to jump into a new module of learning. I have heard so many classes grappling with new Central Ideas and Lines of Inquiry this week, their language, open mindedness and clamour to learn more is both exciting and motivating.
I encourage you to continue having those in depth conversations at home as it serves to support retrieval, build enthusiasm and provide a platform to explore learning further. The knock on effect means the children are inquisitive and have a hunger to learn more, thank you.
I would like to extend my sincere thanks to the PTA. Their unwavering support for the school continues to provide rich educational opportunities which otherwise would just not be possible. Such fantastic fundraising events are also only possible with the generosity and support of yourselves as parents, thank you. Most recently, the funds raised have paid for two of our staff members to become fully qualified Forest School Leaders!
Looking ahead, we have even more exciting events planned, kicking off with the PTA Glow Disco today as well as the much-anticipated PTA quiz night this coming Saturday. Please, as always, do take a moment to check the 'dates ahead' section of this newsletter for any upcoming events.
Yours sincerely and have a lovely weekend,
Mr Moore
Did you know that Paddock Wood Primary PTA run a lottery that anyone can take part in? It's a monthly draw called Bonus 200 Club, with the funds made going towards supporting the provision of equipment, resources and opportunities for pupils.
Numbers cost £1 each per draw, and the minimum subscription is for 12 draws per year. The more people that buy a number, the higher the cash prize gets!
The Bonus Club 200 draw takes place at the monthly committee meetings. After the draw, the winners’ names are posted on our Facebook page and on the school website, and prizes are paid back into the winner’s account. It’s that simple!
Now all you have to do now is decide how many numbers you want per draw, how you want to pay, and then fill in the online form at the link below: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSdVDx1tmbyTCTKnk48-EI1IjHxcHOhzKN5kBYi0vwOUwbzVTQ/viewform
If you have any queries about Bonus Club, feel free to drop us an e-mail on paddockwoodprimarypta@gmail.com or send us a message via our Facebook page.
