Dear Parents and Carers,
I write to you at the end of a fantastic week which has seen us take to the stage. Thus far we have seen Year 1 take to the stage and perform brilliantly. It is always difficult to kick off the festive season and perform in front of an audience (particularly at such a young age) but the children were completely unfazed and we are incredibly proud of them for being brave, projecting their voices and memorising their words and actions. We can't wait to see each of the other year groups perform for you all across our final week of this term.
If you are attending performances in the hall (EYFS and Year 2) then please ensure you have secured tickets via MCAS, should you be struggling then please do not hesitate to contact the school office. You do not need tickets for the KS2 Carol Concert on Wednesday 18th December as this is due to be outside on the rear playground. We are keeping our fingers crossed for good weather but will notify you all at the beginning of the day on Tuesday should we be struggling with adverse weather.
Please note the key dates and events section below which details our early finish next Friday 20th December at 1:30pm, Christmas Dinner day Wednesday 18th December and the key events across the final week.
If I don't manage to see you across the final week of this term then I wish you all a fantastic festive break. I hope you all manage to enjoy time with your family and loved ones across such a special time of year. I would like to thank you all for making me feel so welcome in my first few terms here at Paddock Wood. I have thoroughly enjoyed becoming part of this community and taken great joy in getting to see these fantastic children loving their learning and being so successful in everything they do.
Have a restful weekend.
Yours sincerely,
Mr Moore

This week we are really proud of...
Last weekend the Phoenix Dancers lit up the stage like Christmas lights at Paddock Wood Lights Up. They were true professionals despite such crazy weather and brought epic moves to kick start Christmas. Well done Phoenix superstars, you are unstoppable!!
Alfie completed his 1 mile swim and then completed his 2000 metres last Sunday. This works out as 80 lengths of the pool and swimming non stop for an hour! Well done Alfie we are super proud of you!
Despite the abysmal weather, the choir performed a wonderful Christmas medley to raise the spirits of everyone there. They sounded fabulous!
We are so grateful to Capel Cottage Nursery for donating our fabulous tree this year.
The PTA kindly funded a new set of lights and the children created their very own decorations. Our tree is now in place in the large hall and looking resplendent.
Interhouse Festive Arts and Crafts Competition
Thank you to every child who has created an art piece for this module's competition.
If you would like to see your child's work or even just to see the fantastic range of pieces that have been created then please head to the Small Hall on
Monday 16th and Tuesday 17th December
3:20pm - 3:45pm
