Dear Parents and Carers,
I am writing to you on what feels like the end of a decidedly autumnal week. On such a note, can I ask that you send children into school prepared for adverse weather. As always at this time of the year we ask that you send children in with a warm/waterproof coat with their name in. Whilst we hope to cling on to the last of the summer, it seems that the rain is insistent on interrupting break and lunch times for us.
I hope your children have been excited to tell you stories of their fantastic learning; there has been a buzz around each of the classrooms with children excited to learn and share their knowledge. These conversations as the children leave school or around the dinner table are so important, as we know. In speaking with a lot of you in person, it is clear that the children are enthused by their learning and I thank you for helping to foster inquisitive thinking.
In the coming weeks we will be inviting you all in to engage in your child's learning in class. There is such value in parents getting the opportunity to see their child at work...whilst obviously joining in too. Please stay tuned for letters and notifications of our class engagement sessions and parents evening.
Please note that at the bottom of this page you will still find all academy dates and events, I would just like to remind you that our school photos have had to be rescheduled by our provider and are no longer on 16th and 17th September but are instead now scheduled for 14th October.
Have a fantastic weekend.
Yours sincerely,
Mr Moore
