Dear Parents and Carers,
This is the last call for the parental survey which closes today. We have had 101 responses so far and these will be invaluable in me shaping the next steps for our school and children, if you haven't yet and have five spare minutes then please endeavour to complete the survey (via MCAS>Important Documents), it is greatly appreciated and really useful.
Today marks Number Rocks Day and we have been delighted to see so many children dressed to impress and ready to show off their maths skills and knowledge. There will be a number of other opportunities throughout the year to dress up, particularly with World Book Day fast approaching. Mr Chorley will be in contact to reveal the amazing plans for the day.
With a number of school trips and events just around the corner, please continue to check MCAS and our weekly newsletters as a hub to find all things Paddock Wood. If you are ever unsure then please call into the office or approach a Senior Leader or Teacher at the beginning or the end of the school day.
Across the next term we will be working hard on our Forest School Area, Early Years Garden and Allotment space in preparation for the better weather. Should you have a set of skills, access to resources or free time you wish to give to support then please don't hesitate to contact the office via info@paddockwood.latrust.org.uk
All help is gratefully appreciated, thank you!
Very best wishes and have a lovely weekend,
Mr Moore
This week our overall academy attendance has been 96.5%.
Our winning year group is Year 5 this week with 98.9% which is an amazing achievement.
All Year 5 children have received some additional playtime today to celebrate this...and of course will be the holders of the Attendance Weekly Cup for a week!
Knowing what to pack for your child's lunch every day can be tricky, here are some tips from the NHS.
General Reminders:
Parking continues to cause problems for our local residents. Some of the parking that has been reported to us is very dangerous, parking on junctions, blocking driveways and footpaths forcing the pedestrians into the road on their journey. Please be considerate to your child's safety and that of our local residents. Park with care.
