Dear Parents and Carers,
I write to you at the end of a very successful week which has been filled with positives. I was proud to award a number of certificates this morning for exceptional effort, leadership and positive approaches to learning. A concerted push for us all has been on high quality writing and all children have risen to the challenge whilst being proud of what they have produced. When you are all next in the academy for class engagement sessions you will see the fantastic writing on display, I am sure you will enjoy reading the fantastic range of writing.
With Christmas events approaching, please be mindful of the section below detailing the key dates and times, this should help everybody to keep track of key events to have in the diary alongside MCAS.
Last week we sent a letter updating our procedures around Blue Badges. If you are registered as a Blue Badge holder then please remember to bring it in to show reception and to be issued our academy parking pass. Only those parents and carers with a permit (or taxis) are permitted to drive into the academy car park from Monday 9th December. When driving on the school site, please be mindful to adhere to our 5mph speed limit. I have seen a number of drivers exceeding this limit which endangers children who are my absolute priority. Please drive safely.
Parents who enter and exit via the front gates, please be mindful that all adults and children must keep to the pathway and the pedestrian gate must only be used (not the vehicle gate).
Thank you to the vast majority of parents and carers that take extra care to look after all children and members of our community, together we can ensure our site is safe for all.
Yours sincerely and have a fantastic weekend,
Mr Moore
Parking
Please be reminded to park considerately and legally in the neighbouring roads. We have residents in the area who need access to their driveways and have reported that parents from our academy are blocking these rights of way. Please park mindfully.
