Dear Parents and Carers,
I hope you have all enjoyed the fantastic weather over the last week. It has given teachers license to take learning outdoors which opens up so many opportunities to put learning into relevant and meaningful contexts. We hope your children continue to come home talking all about their learning experiences. It is so refreshing to see photos on Google Classroom of families enjoying days out over the weekends and holidays to explore learning further. Taking such an interest and engagement in what children are learning about in class (as we know) fosters a love of learning and helps to develop inquisitive thinking. Keep the photos coming and thank you for taking such an interest in your child's studies!
With the weather continuing to warm up, please just be vigilant with sun cream application prior to the school day. Hats and water bottles are also essential, thank you.
I also need to thank the PTA who have helped us to purchase our Forest School resources/equipment and paid for our pond to be deep cleaned over the Easter break. We also added a number of fish to the pond over the break. We are looking forward to giving the children the opportunity to learn more about life cycles, ecosystems and habitats with our pond being a fantastic learning resource. Thank you for all of your donations and continued support to make these improvements possible.
We look forward to the fantastic events organised between now and the end of the academc year. There is so much to look forward to!
I hope you all have a restful weekend.
Yours sincerely,
Mr Moore
