Dear Parents and Carers,
As we welcome the vibrant season of Spring, I am delighted to reflect on what has been an hugely positive week for our academy. The atmosphere has been buzzing with excitement, particularly following our successful parents' evening sessions. It was heartening to see so many of you engaged in meaningful discussions about your children's progress. Your feedback is invaluable to us, and we warmly invite you to share any suggestions on how we can enhance these sessions further. Should you not have had the opportunity to meet with your child's class teacher then please make contact with the academy and we will endeavour to get additional slots booked in as we are aware it isn't always possible to make such meetings with work commitments. We hope we have found a better balance for all parents to attend these sessions.
Our Year 3 pupils absolutely loved the last Living History workshop. They returned to the classroom brimming with enthusiasm, eager to explore how ancient civilisations have shaped our world today and of course authentic face painting. It is inspiring to witness their eagerness to learn and grow.
Additionally, I must mention how brilliant all of the children looked in their class photos on Thursday. We were truly blessed with sunshine throughout the day, which made for a perfect backdrop. Your child should have returned home with a QR code for you to purchase their class photo. Please contact their class teacher if you are without a code.
Looking ahead, we have an exciting week planned, including our Year 5 trip to Wales parent meeting, delightful bake sales, and our highly anticipated production of The Wizard of Oz. Your continued support and involvement make a tremendous difference in our community.
Kindest regards and have a lovely weekend,
Mr Moore
