Dear Parents and Carers,
So much is happening at the moment as we approach the end of term on 22nd July (please remember it is an early finish with the children due to be picked up at 1:30pm).
Year 6 are preparing for their final full week of primary school with a number of leavers events in store which commence this evening with their Leavers' Party.
Earlier in the week I wrote to you all with the fantastic news of our end of year data. I once again want to reiterate how proud I am of all of our community for such impressive results. It really is testament to their hard work, dedication and the relentless hard work of their teachers. Whilst results are often the culmination of determination and effort, what is absolutely most important to us is that your children receive the very best education at all times. We will continue to strive to offer the most ambitious and inspiring curriculum possible which intertwines the International Baccalaureate and National Curriculum so that learning is inquiry led, meaningful and in real world contexts.
A reflection on this year is that we aim to invite you all in more frequently to engage in your children's learning. I know how much this means to you all and we recognise that our communication needs to inform you of what learning is taking place each week so you can continue to support as best as possible at home. Timely and clear communication are always areas to refine and I thank you for the feedback you have provided throughout the year, it will help us to ensure our systems are as efficient as possible (this is a work in progress).
Furthermore, we aim to minimise costs of trips and events around a healthy fundraising calendar. We recognise the ever shifting cost of living strains and want to ensure we keep school based costs to a minimum whilst not sacrificing the quality of our provision. We will use more parental surveys next year to gather your views and opinions, such a working relationship is key in improving what we do collectively.
The final newsletter of this academic year will be released on the final day of term, so please be mindful that there will not be the usual communication next Friday.
I hope you all enjoy the brilliant weather this weekend.
Yours sincerely,
Mr Moore

Every step, every guess, and every penny contributed will make a real difference to Demelza, helping them provide vital care and support to children and young people. Well done, EYFS!
Demelza's 'Trail with a Tale' is an exciting public art event set to transform Royal Tunbridge Wells from July 11th to September 8th, 2025. In partnership with Wild in Art, the trail will feature a series of beautifully decorated animal large sculptures, along with smaller ones designed by local schools and community groups, to create a free, family-friendly outdoor adventure, encouraging exploration of the town.
Find our hare, Sir Chesterfield Cottontuft, inside Stampede Shoes, Tunbridge Wells. We would love to see photos of you visiting the sculpture and supporting the cause!
Thank you very much to the PTA for funding our improvements to the school. Each child in Year 3 selected one of three actions to complete the term's learning.
