Dear Parents and Carers,
I am writing to you on what has felt a very autumnal week. This week culminates in our Harvest celebration at St Andrew's Church, I would like to thank you all for your donations. These gestures make a huge difference to the lives of others and model compassion and care to our children. We are looking forward to celebrating Harvest and brace ourselves for the weather changes that this time of year brings, please continue to send your children in with named coats and additional hats and gloves when the temperatures drop further.
As we navigate our way through this term, we prepare for more school events such as Hello Yellow mental health day on Monday 7th October and the PTA autumn disco on Thursday 10th October as well as class based activities and parent open class sessions. Please keep track of all these events via MCAS.
Please remember to avoid walking in the driveway at the beginning and the end of the school day, it can be busy with cars both coming and going. Please make a joint effort to drive slowly and safely whilst also avoiding using it as a pathway.
Have a fantastic weekend.
Yours sincerely,
Mr Moore
This week we are really proud of...
We are very proud of Jessica who stood up in front of everyone to read a prayer on behalf of her rainbows group at St Andrews Church Harvest Festival last Sunday.

Every year, thousands of schools, companies and communities come together to make World Mental Health Day that little bit brighter by wearing something yellow and donating to YoungMinds.
Right now, the world is a really tough place for children and young people to grow up in. We want young people to know that they don’t have to go through this alone. Things can get better.
This World Mental Health Day, wear an item of yellow with thousands of others across the UK and raise money to show young people that they’re not alone with their mental health.
Because we stand brighter, together.
Where - Leigh Academy Paddock Wood
When - Monday 7th October
What - Normal school uniform must be worn with an item of yellow added. Ideas for extra items can be a hair band, scrunchie, socks, bracelets etc. Small items to add a splash of colour!
