Financial Condition: She falls into general category with no BPL card. She studied from Rajpur Padmamini Girls High School. Her father passed away when she was young and mother abandoned her. She was raised in an orphanage. She was eventually adopted by a woman who worked at the same orphanage. The woman was not financial much stable too but tried everything to give Sushmita a good life. Sushmita has four siblings, two older brothers and two older sisters. Sushmita lives with her eldest sister's family in Naredrapur, Kolkata.
Ambition: She wants to pursue a masters degree followed by a PhD to become a teacher in English.
