Financial Condition: Anushri lives with her mother, younger brother and younger sister. Her father passed away a year ago due to high blood sugar, heart attack and lack of treatment. He was a field labourer, and somehow managed to build a two room concrete house which is not completed yet. The kitchen is in very bad condition, and they cook most of the time inside the room. The family was supposed to get Govt. grant for the building of the house and her father's death (A/T the mother) but didn't get it yet. Anushri, her mother, and her sister do "biri batha" work and earn less than INR 3000 / month. Anushri's siblings study in classes VII and X respectively. She was very interested in taking admission in science, but chose humanities instead because of her financial condition. Her mother is very worried about how to manage the children's education in this financial condition.
Ambition: Anushri wants to study nursing in the future.
