About Us

About Pack 841

Pack 841 is made up of 1st grade through 5th grade boys & girls, "Cub Scouts", who are led by volunteer parents that we call "Adult Leaders". Our Pack proudly serves the Stonegate subdivision and surrounding neighborhoods. We happily welcome boys & girls from public schools, charter schools, private schools, or home school. We have Scouts that attend Pine Grove Elementary, Mammoth Heights Elementary, Parker Core Knowledge, North Star, Cherokee Trail, and American Academy. We provide a program with activities every month of the year that build character, help the community, and experiences that involve adventure.

Parent volunteers - our Leaders - are essential to our organization - we have a great foundation of traditions, connections, and support to keep the program fun for Scouts AND Leaders.

If you are a parent interested in learning more about Cub Scouts, Leaders from Pack 841 typically host "Join Night" information sessions in May and August at Pine Grove and Mammoth Heights. We post signs around the school, put fliers into school folders, and post to the parent-teacher Facebook pages at each school & Next Door app to get the word out.

Pack 841 has been around since 1995. The Pack is organized into separate Dens of small groups of Scouts who are all in the same grade working on earning the same Rank - we currently have one to three Dens of each Rank. Pack Meetings are once a month at Pine Grove Elementary and Dens meet in various locations 1-2 times per month.

Our Chartering Organization

The BSA makes Scouting available to young people through different community organizations who agree to sponsor Cub Scout Packs and Boy Scout Toops. This sponsorship is called a 'charter". Our Chartering Organization is The Parker Evangelical Presbyterian Church (PEPC), located east of downtown Parker. They support our efforts to provide a great program by providing meeting space when we need it and they help us evaluate leaders. Chartering Organization Representatives may serve on the District committee and are voting members at the Council level.

“Reverence” and “Duty to God” are important tenets in Scouting intended to encourage youths to respect the beliefs of others while pursuing their own personal spiritual journeys. Pack 841 does not seek to define or promote any particular religious belief for our members. We are open to families of all faiths and traditions.
