Students planning to pursue a career in psychology or in a related profession can expand their understanding of the field by learning from guest speakers who are professionals in the field.
The Pacific University Undergraduate Psychology Society, or PUPS, is a student-led club at Pacific University in Forest Grove, Oregon. Our mission is to support both students who wish to pursue a degree in psychology and those interested in the field of psychology and its applications to their respective fields of study. We aim to provide students with professional development opportunities such as certification in HIPAA, research and presentation experience, networking spaces, and guidance for the graduate school application process and preparation. We will also provide opportunities to build greater knowledge of careers in psychology by offering presentations from professionals in the field. Ultimately, we aim to support the success of students pursuing psychology and related fields, and cultivate a strong and interconnected community within the Department of Psychology at Pacific, as well as with other departments on campus.
