Prf. K. has been mentoring undergraduates at Pacific University for over 23 years. The "media matters" work is relatively new but the principles it rests on -- that context always matters -- have always informed her work. From early work on autobiographical memory development to today, she strives to shine a light on how cognition emerges from interactions between persons and situations because "No knowledge is point-of-viewless" (Bruner, 1991).
