Hey! My name is Micah Antick-Oslund, I am a Senior year Psychology major, and I am hoping to go to OHSU's nursing school after graduation in Spring of 2026. This field guide holds deep value because many whom I care deeply for struggle with issues and problems discussed in this field guide. Partially due to a lack of easily accessible and accurate general knowledge. The new studies and information gathered via modern technology can improve future generations' lives, but without qualified voices advocating, we cannot educate the next parents, guardians, and teachers. That's where this project comes in to fill that gap between researchers and the general population.

Makenzie is a junior at Pacific University who is majoring in Psychology. This project was really impactful to her. Her family was always encouraging reading and the importance of conversations with one another. As they are her biggest source of resilience, Makenzie felt passionate about spreading the influence of narrative practices through storytelling to others. She hopes that people will use stories to help expand possibilities for other children as they did for her.
