Learning Goals for June 1-5

Literacy

Read for at least 20 minutes each day.

Numeracy

• Become familiar with Bedtime Math daily problems. This is an excellent resource that can be utilized during the summer to inspire mathematical conversations and problem-solving
• Use flexible thinking and problem-solving skills to solve real-world problems.

Writing

• Write and mail a birthday letter to Ivan, Nora, and Ms. Julie. Also, to Max, Henry, Landon, and Sawyer if you didn’t get a chance to do so last week
• Record one of your family’s food stories

Cooking Skills

• Gain experience reading and following a recipe.
• Develop practical life skills such as chopping vegetables, mixing ingredients, measuring ingredients, and preparing meals.
