Otter Learning Goals for the Week of
April 20th-24th
Literacy
Read for at least 20 minutes a day
Numeracy
ā¢ First Graders-
o Organize, represent, and interpret data with up to three categories. (Be able to ask and answer questions about the data; including how many in each category and how many more or less are in one category than another.)
ā¢ Second Graders-
o Draw a picture graph and bar graph to represent data set with up to four categories. Solve simple put together, take-apart, and compare problems using the bar graph.
ā¢ Third Grade
o Draw a scaled picture graph and scaled bar graph to present data set with several categories. (Ex- each square in the bar graph might represent 5 pets)
Writing
Write a persuasive text that includes

Science
Make observations of plants and animals to compare diversity of life in different habitats.
