Draw or create an insect using collage materials cut from magazines or scrap paper. Remember to include all the body parts!

Can you make a fiction (pretend) story about your insect? Where does your story take place? Does your story have a problem?
Numeracy: Make a Pattern Caterpillar
Pre-cut small circles from colored paper.
Have your child glue down the circles using a color pattern to create a caterpillar.

Symmetrical Butterflies
Make a symmetrical butterfly by cutting out a butterfly, fold it in half. Paint half of the butterfly with a generous amount of paint; fold butterfly and press. Unfold to reveal your beautiful symmetrical butterfly!
