About Spark
About Spark
Spark classes are live online classes that meet two times each week.
Each class offers 1 in-person Adventure Day event per semester in lieu of class.
Spark classes are aligned with CA state standards.
Scope and Sequence, AWRs, and materials lists are available for each class.
Spark teachers use Google Classroom for communication, standards-aligned projects, lessons, and activities.
Planning amounts may be used to cover class fees and required materials.
Please review the Spark Overview & Expectations to see if this program is the right fit for your students.
All students need to be enrolled in their grade-level courses.
Please contact your HST to register for Spark classes.
Withdrawal grace period: Students may withdraw within 14 calendar days of their class start date.

September 21, 2026 - Session 1 Withdrawal Deadline for Tuesday/Thursday classes

December 18, 2026 - Session 1 Ends
January 11, 2027 - Session 2 Begins
January 25, 2027 - Session 2 Withdrawal Deadline for Monday/Wednesday classes
January 26, 2027 - Session 2 Withdrawal Deadline for Tuesday/Thursday classes
May 14, 2027 - Session 2 Ends
No Spark Classes - 2026-2027 School Year
November 11, 2026 - Veterans Day
November 23 - 30, 2026 - Thanksgiving Break
December 21, 2026 - January 1, 2027 - Winter Break
January 18, 2027 - Martin Luther King Jr. Day
February 12 - 19, 2027 - School Recess
March 29 - April 2, 2027 - Spring Break
