This real-time online writing class includes but is not limited to grade 4 writing standards. This engaging class will ignite a love for writing and build confidence as students learn the foundation of various types of writing, develop their voice as writers, and work through the writing process. Young writers will be supported as they utilize the EIW curriculum. Students will build skills in sharing their ideas through clear and organized writing. Students will learn to plan, revise, edit, rewrite and try new approaches in writing with the support of a teacher and classmates in a real-time virtual setting. Types of writing addressed: Compare and Contrast, Narrative, Expository, Persuasive
Schedule: Tuesday and Thursday from 1:00 p.m. to 1:45 p.m.
