In this real-time online class, 5th-grade students will bring American history to life as they explore how the past connects to the present.
Through rich, interdisciplinary lessons, students will develop historical thinking skills by examining primary and secondary sources, participating in simulations, engaging in thoughtful discussions, and completing hands-on projects.
From the earliest pre-Columbian settlements to the founding of our nation, students will dive deep into the events and people that shaped the United States. Along the way, they’ll build research, note-taking, and presentation skills—while having fun and making meaningful connections.
