Students will investigate the principles of Earth Science in this real-time online class. Interdisciplinary lessons are designed to make learning meaningful by challenging learners to think deeply and apply their knowledge through projects, experiments, discussions, sketching, note-taking,  and hands-on investigations. Students will understand and apply the scientific method. They will conduct research projects and present their findings to their peers. The concepts presented are aligned with grade 6 Next Generation Science Standards. 

Concepts Covered: Earth’s Place in the Universe, Solar System, Astronomy, Geology, Earth’s Systems, Life Science and Physical Sciences, and Engineering Design

Schedule: Monday and Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m.
