This real-time online class will spark students’ curiosity about the world of science. Students will complete a sketchbook of notes, drawings, diagrams, and charts. They will apply their knowledge of  key concepts and the scientific method through whole and small group discussions, research,  investigations, experiments, projects, presentations and demonstrations. Each semester students will also complete a  research project and present findings to the class. Concepts align to grade 4 science standards. 

Concepts Covered: Earth’s place in the Universe, Earth’s Systems, Earth and Human Activity, Energy, Waves, Molecules to  Organisms- Structures and Processes  

Schedule: Monday and Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m.

Session 1: September 8, 2025 - December 19, 2025 - (Parent Orientation: September 3, 2025)

Session 2: January 12, 2026 - May 15, 2026
