This real-time online class will ignite students' curiosity about the world of science. Students will complete a sketchbook of notes, drawings, and diagrams. They will apply their knowledge of key concepts and the scientific method through discussions, research, investigation experiments, and demonstrations. The concepts covered align with the 2nd-grade science standards. Each semester the class will offer a field trip based on the topics we are covering.

Schedule: Monday and Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m.

If a student withdraws from Science or Social Studies classes, the cost of the curriculum is non-refundable. If a Spark Science or Social Studies student withdraws within the grace period, they will receive a class refund minus a $40 Savvas curriculum fee ($225 − $40).
