Spark robotics classes are fun and provide meaningful learning experiences for all students. Students will explore engineering concepts and practice skill-building through games, hands-on activities, peer collaborative learning, and more!
In Vex GO Robotics students complete fun, hands-on activities that teach coding, elementary science concepts, and engineering.
Students’ creativity and imagination are sparked with STEM labs that explore engineering, earth & space science, physical science, and life science. Through collaborative design challenges, students also develop problem-solving skills and perseverance. Literature, scientific inquiry, and the engineering design process are all integrated into the STEM labs to create a well-rounded program.
This course meets all of the elementary I Can Science & Engineering Practices-Crosscutting Concepts AND many of the Grades 2, 3, and 4 Science I Can Statements.
More information can be found in the Spark VexGo Robotics Portfolio.
Students who successfully complete VexGo have the opportunity to advance to developmental and, eventually, competitive robotics. PCA's competitive robotics teams won numerous state tournament awards and are World Champions. (2019, 2020)
