Spark coding and robotics classes are fun and provide meaningful learning experiences for all students. Students will explore engineering concepts and practice skill-building through games, hands-on activities, peer collaborative learning, and more!
To join Competitive Robotics, students need to have completed VEX IQ Developmental Robotics and have a teacher recommendation.
This course encourages independent, self-directed learning, with required parental involvement, and recommended in-person meetings once a week. There are also virtual weekly check-ins with the teacher that last around 30-45 minutes.
Meeting with teammates in person is highly encouraged for the best experience. Students will be invited to participate in one regional tournament, with customization available by fundraising.
PCA's competitive teams were the VEX IQ World Champions in 2019 and 2020
