The 49th Annual Conference of the Pacific Circle Consortium is hosted by the Faculty of Education of the National University of Samoa. The theme for the 49th Annual Conference is "Education and Wellbeing - Conversations Across the Moana."
This theme invites research abstracts that delve into the rich tapestry of education and well-being across the Pacific. We seek studies that employ Pacific methodologies, local practices, cultural ideologies, and pedagogies to explore how these elements influence educational outcomes and overall well-being in the region. By highlighting the unique perspectives and strategies rooted in Pacific cultures, we aim to showcase the diverse and innovative approaches that contribute to the growth and prosperity of communities across the Moana.
The sub themes of the conference are
Action Research and Innovations
Climate Change Education and Actions
Inclusion and Equity in Education and Wellbeing
Engage with a conference focused on increasing knowledge and action to
share practice and research efforts and findings as they relate to student engagement and school culture;
broaden participation in Pacific Circle education and continue developing and supporting K-20 Pacific Circle educators;
share and discuss excellence in programs and initiatives; and
build community with K-20 Pacific Circle educators, scholars, and community partners.
Join the Pacific Circle Consortium when you register for full registration. Members are
established and emerging researchers,
academics and teacher educators,
curriculum policy specialists from Education Departments and statutory authorities,
school-based curriculum leaders and teachers, and
graduate students.
The conference emphasizes how a network of Pacific Circle teachers, practitioners, and scholars can work together to build opportunities for the next generation of students to address a wide variety of complex problems in the Asia-Pacific. The Pacific Circle Consortium finds it central to our beliefs that the people of the Asia-Pacific have a forum to discuss educational problems and celebrate successes that are representative of the world we live in.
