About me
I am a wife, mother, grandmother, Director of Religious Education at Our Lady of Fatima in Perth Amboy, and also the 8th-grade homeroom teacher and middle school religion teacher at PACS. This will be my third year at PACS. I’m excited to begin this new journey as the 8th-grade homeroom teacher, with the privilege of guiding our students through this important final year at PACS.
My goal is to help them continue growing in their identity as children of Christ while encouraging them to take meaningful risks, embrace every dimension of leadership, participate in clubs, and make the most of the academic and spiritual opportunities available to them. I am truly excited to support our 8th graders all the way to the finish line here at PACS.
As a religion teacher, my mission is to inspire in my students a deep desire for an ongoing relationship with Christ, nourished through opportunities such as attending retreats, serving at Mass as altar servers or lectors, and ensuring they are on track with their sacramental preparations. I also work to support their families in following through with these preparations at their home parishes. Also, as a youth minister also in our Lady of Fatima, I encourage our students to remain connected to faith even outside of school. It is such a beautiful continuation of their education here at PACS when our students choose to participate in youth groups at their local parishes.
This year, our theme is “Bearing Good Fruit.” We will be diving into the fruits of the Spirit, encouraging students to understand, embrace, and actively cultivate these virtues within themselves.
