My first experience with the classroom began by helping my cousin set up her classroom year after year. Little did I know that, many years later, I would begin my own teaching career with her as my principal. Teaching with a mission at its heart is what inspires me most, which is why I chose Catholic education. I feel incredibly blessed to have found such a loving and supportive community here at PACS. I'm also a proud parent of a PACS student, which makes this experience even more meaningful. Family is truly the best word to describe what PACS means to me.
Welcome PACS Families,
My name is Miss Diaz, and I am thrilled to begin my fourth year at Perth Amboy Catholic School. This is my second year teaching Middle School English Language Arts and my fourth year teaching 8th-grade Spanish. As a proud product of Catholic education, I feel incredibly blessed to be part of the PACS family. Teaching is my passion, and it is truly a gift to share it with your children each day.
In addition to teaching, I serve as the Director of Liturgical Dance, Theatre Club, and Safety Patrol. I believe in nurturing the whole child by providing opportunities for students to grow, lead, and express their God-given talents within our school community.
Liturgical Dance is open to young ladies in grades 2 through 8 who wish to praise the Lord through movement. No prior dance experience is needed—I'll teach them! I’ve been dancing since I was three years old and am trained in ballet, lyrical, jazz, tap, hip hop, bachata, merengue, and more. Each rehearsal begins and ends in prayer, grounding our performances in faith and devotion.
Theater Club is a vibrant and exciting opportunity for students in grades 5 through 8 to dive into the performing arts. Whether they enjoy acting, singing, building props, or supporting as stage crew, there’s a place for everyone to shine on and off stage.
Safety Patrol is an essential program that promotes leadership and responsibility. I’m proud to guide our student leaders in creating a safe and respectful environment throughout our school.
