Do you have an interest in working closely with kids and witnessing lives being transformed? Join us for our fun and powerful clubs and camps, coaching athletes aged 6-18 in one of four disciplines: multi-sport, basketball, volleyball, and soccer.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
We require AIA Coaches to have a passion for working with children and athletes, sharing the impact Jesus has made on their life. AIA Summer Camps Coaches will travel extensively around their respective province or region, with accommodations through our billeting program. AIA Clubs coaches will work in a local region for the duration of the club season. Coaches will need to be able to adapt and be comfortable in new environments, work well on a team, and have flexibility in their schedules. In addition, it is an added benefit to have access to a vehicle as well as First Aid certification.
At times, certain regions have many more applications than positions. In regards to summer camps coaching, it is a benefit if an AIA Summer Coach is available to work in multiple provinces.

If you are an employee, you should be able to find the HR Manual when you login to Configio and look under Account > Staff > Documents
Vulnerable Sector Search (VSS)
Vulnerable Sector Search (VSS)
NOTE: You need to have a Criminal Record Check (CRC) and a Vulnerable Sector Search (VSS). CRC and VSS applications can be in-person or online depending on your location of residence. Please check with your local police service and contact us (youth@athletesinaction.ca) for support as needed. You would need to take a copy of the letter here supporting the need of requestion: CRC & VSS Requisition Letter
Please let us know (youth@athletesinaction.ca) if your local police station requires a personalized letter or a specific form to be completed.
A CRC/VSS can take up to several weeks. Do not procrastinate getting your CRC & VSS. You cannot work with minors without CRC & VSS.
If you had one done with another organization within the past 12 months, you may request a copy to be forwarded to us.
Please send your completed CRC & VSS directly to hr@p2c.com and forward the receipt (if applicable) to youth@athletesinaction.ca for reimbursement. Kindly specify that you are a coach with AIA Youth Initiatives please.

AIA's parent organization Power to Change (P2C) is registered in British Columbia (BC), hence we have to follow the BC policies on volunteering to work with children and/or vulnerable persons.
Therefore even if you are not a BC resident, we ask you to please use the same online portal. Please just select "Start" on the first screen:
On the organization information tab, please confirm the organization email is hr@p2c.com and please write AIA-YI Coach as the job title.
Continue until the screen to choose preferred log in option, please choose the to continue without your BC Services Card. A P2C HR staff will reach out to verify your ID after you have submitted the application. Thank you very much.
