The Understood website is full of resources to help support your child! Resources include emotion management, hyperactivity, stress and anxiety, COVID, staying organized, focus, and much more!
The Collaborative for Academic, Social, and Emotional Learning website is full of information regarding social emotion learning for students in preschool through high school!
The PBIS, Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports, website is full of information, videos, tools, etc., related to helping support students succeed in all areas at school. PBIS is an evidence-based three-tiered framework. Topics on this website include bullying, coaching, family, mental health/social emotional well-being, and much more!
I use the Second Step Bullying Prevention Curriculum here at Clara Barton! I go into both 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades and teach bullying prevention as a classroom guidance lesson. Students are taught how to recognize, report, and refuse bullying.
