With your project reviewed and approved by Solar App + you may apply through the City of Oxnard Click2Gov system for your real time, online permit issuance. Follow the instructions below to avoid problems or delays.
-Follow the link https://oxna-egov.aspgov.com/Click2GovBP/index.html to apply online with the city Building and Engineering Division
-Please note: You MUST be a contractor licensed with the CSLB to pull a permit through Click2Gov and you MUST have a City of Oxnard Business Tax Certificate (also known as a City Business License) to proceed. Please visit our Licensing Division website to obtain or renew a business license: City of Oxnard Licensing Division
-Next, you MUST have a Click2Gov account associated with a Contractor in order to process permits through Click2Gov. When setting up your account, you MUST use the same phone number that was used with the City of Oxnard Licensing Division to establish the city business license to validate your account. If you are unsure of the phone number used, please contact our Licensing Division at 805.385.7817 or by email at ctlicensing@oxnard.org . You will be unable to move forward with the permit process without this.
-Select "Submit Application" from the available menu options
-You may only apply for Solar App + reviewed permits using Click2Gov. For other application options, please see the City of Oxnard Building and Engineering Homepage
-Enter all info as required in the fields provided. Make sure to include your Solar App + Approval ID, system kilowatts and number of panels in the associated fields. These items will print on your permit.
-Upload and email your Solar App + approval documents when prompted to do so
-Once your permit application is created, you may pay online, print your permit, and request an inspection from the navigation buttons on the Click2Gov site (inspections must be requested within 365 days of permit issuance)
