We are SO excited for the opportunity to perform the National Anthem at Comerica Park for the Tigers vs. Dodgers game on Saturday 8/29/2026!

It is expected and important that ALL students attend this performance. If you have monetary concerns, please contact the director ASAP to discuss available options. Monetary restrictions should not prevent a student from participating in this AMAZING performance opportunity.

Please submit all required forms and payments on or before Wednesday, August 26.

What to Submit:

• Regular Field Trip Consent Form - sent w/student and via email 8/21. Also available in button below.

• Student ticket payment: $35, purchased through Owosso Band Boosters(see payment options below)

• Permission to Administer Medication form — if needed - button below or avaible for student pickup in class.

-  Cash or check: Make checks payable to Owosso Band Boosters and send payment to school with your student to be turned in to their Band Director.

Legal parent/guardians who are attending the game and wish to take their student home instead of having them ride the bus may do so IF:

• Indicated on field trip form. Plans changed? Please send email to Mrs. Kowalczyk prior to pick up. 

• Checkout with Mrs. Kowalczyk is completed after performance, prior to bus departure - preferably at the end of the game - location TBA via remind. To complete checkout at performance event, student AND parent/guardian must be present and ok'd by band director, parent/guardian will then sign out student on band director's roster and student will be released. ID may be requested to confirm parent identity and maintain the safety of your student. 

• FOR THE SAFETY OF YOUR STUDENT - you MUST follow the checkout procedure with the director prior to departure. 

Chaperones:
There are limited chaperone spots available! Chaperones will ride the bus to and from the event, supervise an assigned group of students, and help with student needs throughout the day. Chaperone tickets will be purchased through the Owosso Band Boosters.

Can friends/family attend the performance? YES! Friends/family attending the performance must provide their own transportation and purchase a game ticket online by clicking the button below. A donation is made to the Owosso Band Boosters for each ticket sold!

Is this performance graded? No, this is a field trip performance opportunity. While not required, every TMB student should plan to attend and perform. This is an amazing opportunity and the band needs you. YOU MATTER!
